If you live in Whatcom, Skagit or Seattle-vicinity King counties and possibly Portland, we would be happy to deliver the artwork.
We would love to see Jean and Carroll’s framed art go to good homes in this neck of the woods. We can deliver it to your door or a convenient nearby dropoff site.

Framed prints cost an additional $50 plus a separate $75 fee for delivery.
Usually, we make monthly delivery rounds.

Handmade heritage: Frames by the artist

After growing up on an Iowa farm, Carroll Cassill always took a do-it-yourself approach to  making art. He built wooden frames for his and Jean’s prints in his basement workshop. He would often scrounge walnut or maple wood leftover from industrial design or sculpture classes at the art school where he taught to use for frames.
Besides the frames, he and some students built the large sawdust bin used to clean ink and resin off printing plates in the printmaking studio. One of his favorite hobbies, besides fly fishing, was building and flying balsa wood planes.

Shipping framed or matted artwork

Purchases of framed or matted art outside of the Seattle-Portland area would need a custom shipping option. We would make arrangements with a local shipper who has experience in shipping fine art and can provide double-boxed or crated arrangements, probably at a cost of $200-$500. We can provide shipping estimates upon request.
